Captek

Captek is a highly esthetic PFM restoration. Made of ceramic fused to a 22kt Captek gold understructure, Captek provides a warm, lifelike appearance at the gingival margin. Indicated for crowns and bridges, Captek may also be prescribed for long span bridges and implants thanks to its new formulation – Captek Bridge, which is 33 percent stronger than traditional Captek. Biocompatible and corrosion resistant due to its composition of 84.5 percent gold and 12.3 percent platinum group metals, Captek also exhibits less bacterial accumulation than natural teeth in the same mouth!
